Just joined the forum. I really like it after reading awhile. Several others I participate in. Got a Weber Smokey Mountain about 3 months ago. Never knew what "real barbque" was before. I've done about 8 cooks on the WSM and really like it. Everything was awesome except the brisket i tried.
I think i need a lot of practice on this one. Mine tasted like unflavored, dry beef roast. Probably a lot of posts here on briskets, i'll just have to keep trying. Looks so good when you Texas guys cook it. Ordered some Texas Barbq Rub yesterday. I have some good rub recipes, but thought i'd give this one a try after reading the testimonials.
