Default Key Lime dump cake

this is just a straight variation on Bigwheel's Cherry Dump Cake.

1 can key lime filling
1 can crushed pineapple
1 box cake mix
2 sticks butter

EZ... dump the crushed pineapple into an ungreased pan. Dump in the key lime filling. Mix it up. Carefully dump in the cake mix on top of the mixed ingredients. Carefully spread the cake mix on top to cover all the mix. Microwave the 2 sticks of butter and then carefully spread the liquid butter on top. Bake 45 minutes in a 375 oven.

DAZZIT !!! I told you it was EZ...

I've done the Cherry Dump Cake to great ravings - I'll have to try other variations of Comstock fillin's too though!

Key Lime is not something I tend to enjoy, but I bet others will. I'll give 'er a go and let ya know DB!

Next time I'm gonna try double each of the fillings. The cake mix always covers it properly, but the filling always seems to be 'just enough' to fill the pan.

The is exactly the other Comstock fillin' I was thinking of there too Will!

I bet this recipe could probably be used on a bunch of different fillins, and hey Bolo! Long time no see! No you do not have to mix in the cake mix. Just melt the butter - pour it on top, and voila!

I also do a different type of layering with mine where I would do the cake mix, then put some finely food processed Almonds, Walnuts and Pecans on top of that, then the rest of the cake mix, and then the butter covering the top.

375 for 50 minutes, and it's yum time!

NEGATIVE, Bolo...just spread it on top of the filling. Be careful not to let the filling ooze thru the cake mix. THen pour the butter on top and DAZZIT !!! 375 for 45 minutes.

Next time I PROMISE to sprinkle chopped pecans on top. I got to like them so much after doing my Sweet Potato Casserole that I gots to try it on the dump cake.
