Default Ribs& Brisket by the case

Anyone ever buy Sams club ribs or brisket by the case? If so:

1. Approximately how many racks/packers are there in a case?
2. Is each rack individually packaged?
3. Are you able to see the ribs/packers before purchase or you do so blind?

What is a rough estimate of a cost of each? Thanks

Yeah that 3-pack is what I usually buy but I just found out that they also sell by the case.

Last time I bought them it seems like there was 6 pkgs in a case (ribs). There was three in a pack. With 3 in a pkg , I figured why look at them?

Here is what I got from a person who appears to have a good relationship with Sams.

"1)
Case weights are normally between about 60 and 75 lbs, the heavier the cryovacs the fewer there are in the case, the lighter they are, the more there are in the case!

So that means 4 - 6 cryo's of either Spares or Packers.

2)
Spare ribs come in 3 pack cryo's, Baby backs sometimes in 3 packs, sometimes in 2 packs, it depends on which supplier they are using in your area.

3)
I have a good relationship with the 3 nearest Sam's Clubs and they always allow me to inspect before I buy, the 4th nearest will allow it if the manager or his deputy is around, otherwise the workers have instructions not to allow any members into the walkins, and they tend not to be as helpful!

4)
Spare ribs $1.58 / lb
Baby backs $ 2.81 / lb
Packer Briskets $ 1.77 / lb
Brisket Flats $ 2.77 / lb"

Well those are some nice sizes. I do not understand why Sams will not sell choice packers. Must be a method to their madness I suppose. Prob got it figgered out the Flat sales would plummet because a person could just make their own if they wanted choice Flats. You could feed the point to the dawg and most likely still come out cheaper.

Do you find that the ribs are good cuts or do they sometimes hide lesser quality cuts in there?
